Pipe Welding II: GTAW – Spring 2026

Prerequisite – Welding Fundamentals and/or previous GTAW welding experience is recommended. Provides the student with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to do both manual and orbital GTAW welding of carbon steel pipe and sanitary stainless tubing. The GTAW welding process will be used for practice welds on pipe diameters from 2-6 inches on butt weld, socket weld, and groove weld pipe fittings.
