This is a hybrid course with 20 hours online. Enhance employment opportunities by learning basic welding skills! The program emphasizes welding safety procedures and using a variety of welding machines to gain a working understanding of the shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) process. Students will weld joints in the following positions: flat plate (1G), horizontal (2g), vertical up (3G), and overhead (4g) positions.
