Machine Tool II

This class continues to explain the technical aspects of Manual Machine Tool practices such as: Job Planning and Management Tasks, Layout Tasks, Benchwork Tasks, Basic Mathematics, applying the Machinery’s Handbook, Basic Measurement, Basic Machining Theory, and Layout. There will be a NIMS machining project the student will complete with instructor working side-by-side. The project will be completed with an online NIMS quiz (Job Planning, Benchwork and Layout) to earn a NIMS credential. Safety glasses are required.
