The NCCER Core Curriculum is a prerequisite to all other Level 1 craft curriculum. Modules covered are: Safety, Construction Math, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Drawings, Rigging, Communication Skills, Employability Skills, and Material Handling. Completing this curriculum gives the trainee an introduction to the topics and the practical basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area he or she chooses.
