Power Industry Fundamentals

NCCER’s Power Industry Fundamentals program sets the stage for those entering the electrical energy production and distribution field and serves as a curriculum requirement to the Power Line Worker program. Students learn about the many ways in which electricity can be produced, energy distribution and transmission, the economics involved in energy production and delivery, and the environmental impacts of distributing electrical power.
