Gas Metal Arc Welding (FF)

Gas metal arc welding, also known as MIG welding or wire welding, is used extensively in the sheet metal and automotive industries and considered easy for beginners. Training includes classroom lecture, practice, and evaluation of final product. Topics include proper safety techniques, prepping material, regulating gas flow, and how to feed the wire. Instruction includes 1G position (on flat plate), 2G position (horizontal), 3G position (vertical up) and 4G position (overhead).
