Plumbing – Level 1 (FF)

Master the basic concepts to prepare for entry-level employment in the plumbing industry. Topics include the plumbing profession, plumbing safety, tools of the trade, plumbing math, drawings, pipe and fitting types (plastic, copper, cast-iron and steel), fixtures, and an overview of drain, waste, and vent (DWV) systems, and water distribution systems. Upon successful completion of this course, students are eligible to sit for the Plumbing – Level 1 credential exam offered by the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER).
