Welding Fabrication I: GMAW – Spring 2025 Day 2

Prerequisite – Welding Fundamentals or previous welding experience is recommended. Focuses on welding and fabrication skills used in building welded metal projects. Students will create a working drawing and bill of materials, factor in total costs and weight of their project, cut and tack-weld all components together, and make final welds to complete the job. Welding safety using various welding processes (GTAW, GMAW and SMAW) and safe shop practices will be discussed and demonstrated.
