The NCCER Core Curriculum is a prerequisite to all other Level 1 craft curriculum. Modules covered are: Safety, Construction Math, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Drawings, Rigging, Communication Skills, Employability Skills, and Material Handling. Completing this curriculum gives the trainee an introduction to the topics and the practical basic skills needed to continue education in any craft area he or she chooses. The Remote Pilot Airman Course covers all information required to pass FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Part 107 test to become a certified commercial small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (sUAS) Pilot. This includes learning and understanding rules and regulations to operate sUAS in the National Airspace System (NAS). Students will be able to properly plan an operation, safely operate an sUAS, perform small maintenance procedures and correctly log pilot and aircraft hours. This course consists of classroom instruction, various backing maneuvers, and on-the-road training for students to test to receive their Class A License. Taught by instructors of Ancora Corporate Training, this class is 40 hours of classroom instruction and additional weeks of truck driving training. Ancora will assist students with job placement following their passing the DMV skills test. Some requirements do apply such as DOT physical, CDL permit, and drug screening.
