Medication Aide

The 68-hour Medication Administration Course is a Virginia Board of Nursing-approved program. In this program, participants will learn how to administer and assist patients in self-administering medications, including blood sugar checks and insulin injections, in the assisted living environment. The curriculum includes 44 hours of online training and 24 hours of supervised clinical instruction at an assisted living facility.
