In this healthcare program, learners will be taught effective communication, appropriate procedures and the skills needed to assess and treat life-threatening conditions.
As an entry level credential, a career as an EMT can be the first step towards several healthcare pathways as a Paramedic, Registered Nurse and more.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
In this program, students are taught basic medical tasks like how to check and monitor vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure. LPNs often collect specimens for laboratory tests, perform wound care and report to registered nurses and physicians.
