MerryGoRound to open a Logistics Center in Pittsylvania County
Pittsylvania County will soon be the home to a new MerryGoRound logistics and fulfillment facility. The apparel and collectables company recently announced they will invest $10 million into a new 400,000 SF facility to support its live commerce division, creating 203 new jobs for the region. Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing, Inc. Expanding in Norfolk
Land ‘N’ Sea Distributing, a wholesale distributor of marine and recreational vehicle parts, will invest $1.1 million into a larger facility in the City of Norfolk. This expansion shows the company’s growth and will create 30 new jobs. Read more here.
Amazon’s Next Fulfillment Hub Coming to Goochland County
A new state-of-the-art robotics Amazon fulfillment center is being built in Goochland County. This is Amazon’s fourth fulfillment center in Virginia. The center is expected to open in 2027 and will bring over 1,000 jobs to the area. Read more here.
