Thanksgiving is right around the corner, and we hope you get to feast on your favorite dishes while spending time with loved ones. Before the FastForward team prepares to do the same, we wanted to take a moment to give a shout out to those who make the program possible.

Our instructors
FastForward programs at Virginia’s Community Colleges would not be possible without the instructors who train our FastForward students. Many of our instructors work full-time in the fields they teach in, bringing real-life experiences into the classroom.
For example, after earning her RN and gaining years of clinical and nursing experience, Farah Lane teaches night classes at Mountain Empire Community College for FastForward students looking to achieve their nursing goals.
Many of our instructors go above and beyond, serving as mentors to their students.
Our Career Coaches
Like the instructors, our career coaches are invested in supporting students’ FastForward journey from beginning to end and beyond.
To get started, career coaches are available to help students find the right industry and career path that will make them most happy. From there, our career coaches help students with sourcing financial assistance, setting goals, time management and even preparing for life after earning a certification or credential.
